StreetDraw runs arts-based events, exhibitions, creative projects, and talks, to help us all see where we live through fresh eyes and to support people facing or experiencing housing insecurity or homelessness.

HOPE FOR CORNWALL BOOK

Hope for Cornwall was commissioned by cross-sector movement for change, Homes for Cornwall in 2024. It was written and illustrated by StreetDraw founder Helen Trevaskis and tells the story of Cornwall’s housing crisis in a creative, informative, blame free way. It’s based on research with experts and can be bought from our shop or downloaded as a pdf.

BLYSTRA COLLABORATION

Hope for Cornwall is now also available as an audio performance thanks to a recent collaboration with Blystra Arts - a Newquay based arts community interest company.

STREETDRAW24 2024

Our two 2024 24-hour draws and exhibitions were run by Create CIC in Cornwall in aid of St Petrocs and Grace & Favour Home in Devon in aid of Amber. Between £500-£600 was raised for each charity at a time where things are tough for so many in the South West (and beyond). Early next year we’ll update on how these joyful fundraising events run in future….

EDEN PROJECT SLEEPOUT

On November 14th we again supported the Eden Project fundraising for St Petrocs and Amber. It’s an amazing fundraiser, which we’re proud to have been part of for 5 years! Thanks to StreetDrawers Rosie Flatt, Peter Blodau (see one of Peter’s images above), Dave Pentin, Anna Robinson, Jess Parr and Helen Trevaskis.

“See where you are.”

With thanks to Alister Heath and Nick Cooney for photographs of StreetDraw24s and to Gavan Goulder for photographs from the People Project Cornwall on this website.
